Bil-Jac Foods of Medinia, Ohio announced a voluntary recall on a small batch (256 cases) of its 6 LB bags of Adult Select Formula Dog Food for potential contamination with mold. This particular batch was found to have higher moisture content in the food.
According to their website, only batch number 1792-02 (Expiration 27 DEC 13) of the 6 LB bags is affected. The company has requested retailers and distributors remove the affected product from shelves.
