Caring community grants dying stray dog his last wish

  • caring community grants dying wish to stray dog

An ailing stray dog named Ol Boy was spotted in Singapore by a member of the public, who asked Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD) to help. What started out as a routine rescue of a stray dog turned into a touching lesson of life and love for everyone involved. This is incredibly moving, as Ol Boy was finally able to receive the love, caring and compassion in his final days that he never received before.

Save Our Street Dogs is a non-profit organisation that rescues and rehomes stray dogs in Singapore. The president of Save Our Street Dogs is Dr. Siew Tuck Wah.

this has just broke my heart i cant stop crying x x x x R.I.P. Ol BOY . . Now free from pain and suffering you can run with all the other beautiful doggie angels x x x x x x
Thank you for being so wonderful and loving to Ol Boy.
I cried like a little boy who got lost and couldn't find home...if only more people could care about stray animals, things wouldn't have been much more different. We are so mired in the "perfect world" that we live in now that we are consciously trying to avoid, ignore social problems including welfare for animals, constantly reminding us that as long as we don't watch scenes like these, they will automatically disappear. They don't, unfortunately. More efforts need to instilled in PR, Ads. More campaigns need to be raised. On top of that, more money...
God Bless you for granting a final wish.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU DID FOR PRECIOUS BUDDY. I COULDN;T STOP CRYING FOR THIS POOR DOG WHAT HE WENT THROUGH. NO DOG SHOULD HAVE TO LIVE WITHOUT LOVE, RESPECT OR DIGNITY. RIP BUDDY
Lord, God bless the good souls on this earth. Thank you for doing so much for this poor little thing...he went away well. And now he is in peace in heaven! It is a beautiful ending<3
A beautiful video. I cried the whole time, for Ol Boy and all the dogs unwanted and unloved. God bless the wonderful people who honored him at the end of his life.
...cried as if he were my own dog... it's beautiful how Ol' Boy, instead of dying some anonymous death, through the compassion and care of some very special wonderful people, left behind a legacy of Love and Kindness... that will always be... ...thank you ol' boy for the feelings, thoughts, lessons, and Love you left for us... God has a new forever dog... and the Universe, a new star...
RIP ol boy threw the videos I could see your pain threw the videos I felt like I knew you the video made me cry and think of you and the dogs that I have taken in an rescued and that have passed away Ol boy run threw the tall grass swim in the ocean play in the mud but ol boy never be born on the streets again this is not a place that no animal or human should ever be... Peace and love and kisses ol boy
Thank You SOSD and all who gave of themselves to this sweet soul.
that made me cry r.i.p ol boy run free over the rainbow bridge the last days for him were very special he was loved and cared for before he passed on in a home that was his dying wish and he showed his communicator were he wanted to be scattered that was by the field by the beach i would have picked him up if i saw him lying there howling for 3 days i would have taken him and got him the love and care he needed instead of leaving him there to dye that was sad i started crying when i watched it
This video has made me start thinking about helping strays like ol boy. May Ol boy rest in peace and love. Love you ol boy
TO DAN HETLAND, you are absolutely right. To the rest.. Do you know in Singapore, if you buy government housing with your own money (whats its known in UK as Council Flats), you are NOT ALLOWED to keep this type of dog in your own home as Its against the law? They will ask you to remove it. Here a plea from someone who wants to keep his dog in his own flat with his own money http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jP3bDJrMUQ0
i cryed all the way through watching this video, it was heart breaking, what i don't understand is ppl were feeding him scraps, they knew he was homeless, and no one helped him the way he needed it, but in the end he got his last wish, and thanks to the ppl that did help him, at least he passed away in a loving home.
It would've been alot nicer for this dog, if someone had took him in in the first place.
sobbing like a freakin baby, at work too! Perhaps more strays will be saved/given homes through the awareness brought on by Ol Boy. RIP!
I can't stop crying since watching this. God bless the wonderful family that granted him his last wishes. The Rainbow Bridge now has another angel.
This broke my heart. Thank you for giving him love at his last moments. I cant believe people let him lay in that street for days howling in pain. That is so wrong. I just wish someone would have held him in their arms in his last hours. RIP baby, Im sorry life was so cruel to you. Be happy now and roam in your open field till your hearts content. We love you Ol Boy.
Too be able to rescue every dog like Ol Boy,,,this is my true wish in life!! Whether I succeed or not, i sure as hell am gonna try my damndest!!
