A protective dog kept medics from getting to his injured owner, when the man broke his leg while out walking the dog. When San Diego EMTs arrived to help, the loyal dog stayed on guard as his owner lay on the side of the road. He wouldn't let anyone within five feet. Thankfully, the man's brother arrived and was able to calm the dog and coax him away. The man was then able to be gurneyed into the awaiting ambulance.
