Bentley had his first episode of Episodic Falling Cavalier Syndrome at the age of 3 months. He was diagnosed (tentatively, by me, not the Vet) when he was 6 months old. He's now 3 years old, and has them at a frequency of less than 1 a month on average. He was positively diagnosed by our Vet this year after I was able to take a video of him during one of the episodes.
He's a lovely little boy - very playful, full of energy, and is very affectionate. He's happy just to be doing whatever I'm doing. Bentley is the first Cavalier I've owned & I knew very little of the breed before I got him. I've always had cocker spaniels and assumed he would be like a small cocker - but not at all. This is a toy breed & bred to be "comforters" to their owners - they follow you everywhere & live to be with people. He's my little "shadow" & my buddy.
