Bear is actually a Keeshond X. His dad was a purebred Keeshond and his mom was a border collie, husky, terrier mix. I rescued both parents from abuse. The mother was adopted out, and the father I had up until he died of old age on December 13, 2006. Right now I am fund-raising to get the money for a much needed surgery. He has a unilateral hernia in his colon making it hard for him to pass stool. He was treated with laxatives and special diets but they are no longer working and he needs surgery now. Bear has most of the traits of his father - loving, playful. He is black with off-white coloured fur on his neck and stockings. He also has little white markings above his eyes, like eyebrows. His profile pic is when he was about 8 months old. He weighs about 50 pounds.
