When John and Karen Holland of Mount Vernon, lost their Saint Bernard named Bailey, in January, the 6-year-old dog left behind a legacy of giving for both dogs and humans. At the University of Minnesota a golden retriever named Piper and the other dogs are receiving experimental brain cancer treatment at the Ohlfest Brain Tumor Lab.
