Healing A Shelter Dog's Broken Back And Wounded Spirit

Janie was brought to the shelter as a stray after she had been runover by a car. In so much pain and in a strange place, Janie was too scared to let anyone near her.

Dogs like Janie don't usually get a second chance and make it out of the shelter alive.

Bill Foundation provided Janie with spinal surgery to repair her back. Then Janie really needed our help repairing her soul...

Watch the amazing transformation Janie made with a little love and patience here:

Please share this video far and wide and help us celebrate the second chances our village provides for dogs in need. And if you have a few dolars to spare, please consider donating to Bill Foundation to help us cover Janie's medical bills and rehab.

Special thanks to my dear friend Eldad from Hope For Paws for helping Janie learn to trust again. The partnership between our rescues is a beautiful one and together we have been able to save so many lives.

Please visit us on facebook for continued updates on Janie and even more rescue stories.

I don't have the experience that you have with breaking in a little dog in pain, but maybe letting the dog see you show affection to another little dog might shorten the process. Beautiful endeavor, and a beautiful video. Get well little Janie.
I am sitting here with tears running down my face after watching that. Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and tenderness for a scared little dog who just needed a friend. You have my utmost respect and admiration. The world needs more people like you.
Oh Eldad... you did it again. You are such an angel for these dogs. My eyes were wet while watching this video....
Poor little girl. Thank you for taking care of her so well. Eldad, you are gentle man with a very kind spirit. She saw that in you after a while, to go from trying to bite you to getting up on your lap. It's a miracle. God bless you and I pray you find a wonderful home for her. :O)
